Birthday party

Yesterday was Dakota's birthday party with my family. We spent over $100 on food and supplies, and only my parents and brothers (and their girlfriends) showed up. We bought stuff for cowboy goody bags, but there weren't any kids. Some of the adults put on a fake mustache to humor Dakota. Between us and my parents, Dakota ended up with a good little collection of Ultraman monsters so he was happy. It's what he wanted more than anything, so that's what we got him. Unfortunately, we had to get them from Japan. He's obsessed with japanese toys and thinks that Japan is the coolest. He wants to go there so badly, but I don't think he understands just how far away it is... He ended the party by reviewing his new toys for everyone (like he watches people do on youtube videos).

On Friday we went to the fair in Hopkins. We got away with only buying 10 tickets for the kids to split, and letting the kids both play a couple of games. Luckily, they are fairly easy to please. We went early to avoid the crowd. You know me, avoiding crowds is my hobby. Anyway, here are some pictures from the weekend:
