My Little Heartthrob

On Tuesday, Dakota took that note back to school that he got from Natalia with the check “yes” or “no” boxes. When I picked him up after school, they walked out together and Natalia had both her arms wrapped around Dakota's arm and she looked so in love. It was too cute. Dakota seemed pretty much oblivious. The next day, I didn't see Dakota come out – I was on the other side getting his sister but we ended up walking by Natalia's twin sister Abigail on the way to the explorer and she went up and gave him a big hug. The next day after school, we were getting into the explorer and I heard some little girl tell Dakota “Hi” in a flirty little voice. This is a different girl. Anyway, her mom was standing close by talking to another mom, and this little girl crawled into our explorer and sat beside Dakota. She looked like she was admiring him – and he seemed to have no clue. Apparently the girl's mom didn't know her daughter got in our vehicle so I just sat there awkwardly until her mom got the girl out. It's just so funny how Dakota has no friends that are boys, but he seems to have all these female admirers.

Speaking of boys at school, they have been really mean to Dakota lately. Last week, Dakota said that one boy pushed him into the fence, another one punched him in the stomach, and another was calling him names. He never told the teacher though, and of course none of the teachers saw this happen. That evening, I emailed his teacher and let her know what happened. She told me that she would talk with Dakota about it but he said she never did. I've told him to stay close by the teachers during recess so these things don't happen but he doesn't listen to me. The next day, one of the same boys hurt Dakota's arm...

Last night, we took the kids to see WWE wrestling in St. Joe. We bought the tickets awhile back as soon as they went on sale, but kept it a surprise. We bought the cheapest tickets but we still had a great view. Dakota was so excited and was hollering the whole time. Even Mikayla was into it for awhile. It was so funny to hear her yelling “boooo” or “you suck” right along with the rest of the crowd. She was disappointed that John Cena wasn't there (he is her boyfriend). He got hurt and couldn't make it. Last week she told me that she thought about buying him a ring, lol... Anyway, Dakota had a blast. He said it was the best day ever.

Mikayla's boyfriend (for those that aren't familiar with wrestlers):

Mikayla may have a fight on her little hands if she wants John Cena to be her boyfriend. I've loved him from the beginning. LOL. We met him down at some mall in KC when he first became famous. There was hardly anyone there so we went through the line several times. We got pics with him and a female wrestler that used to be on ECW named Dawn Marie. Shaun told John Cena that he may need a restraining order to keep me away. We had Dakota with us and he was just a little guy then. That was back when John Cena did raps so he made a rap with Dakota's name in it. It was so awesome and he was such a nice guy.

Hopefully that teacher will keep a closer eye on your Dakota. It's scary not knowing how things are going at school and relying on only what he tells you. It could be much worse than what he is saying. I'm glad the girls dig him, though. To hell with those boys....as long as he has the girls that's all he needs ;)
